Farren started off his footballing life playing Sunday league in Birmingham before spending time with a few different academies. Relocating to North Devon at the age of 11, he was picked by Derby County as a scholar and spent time playing for Torquay United U18’s and Barnstaple Town before joining Parkway. It was at Barnstaple he has the best memory of his career, scoring the winner against Truro in the FA Youth Cup at Bolitho Park.

A keen Birmingham City fan, his footballing hero is Neymar. He says the best player he has ever played with is Bayo Fapetu as he knew he would keep the ball and find him in space. When playing against him he never wanted to mark him or even attempt to play against Bayo.

Off the pitch, he loves to tuck into a good pizza and unwinds by playing snooker at district league level. Even going as far as saying he loves snooker almost as much as he loves football. His chosen superpower would be invisible so he can go undetected in pockets of space and do some damage to the opposition.
