Plymouth Parkway Football Club is proud to announce the launch of its Level 2 Community Coach Apprenticeship, a fully funded 36-month programme designed to develop the next generation of community leaders through sport.

Transform Your Love for Sport into a Career

This government-funded apprenticeship provides participants with the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in coaching and community engagement while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

Across 15 engaging modules, apprentices will develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours required to make a meaningful impact in their communities.

Programme topics include:

  • Leading and coaching pre-planned sport and physical activity sessions
  • Promoting physical activity within local communities
  • Working alongside clubs, volunteers, youth workers, and public services
  • Supporting families and individuals to overcome barriers to participation
  • Using technology and social media to deliver positive community messages

Inclusive and Supportive Learning for All

Plymouth Parkway is committed to ensuring this apprenticeship is accessible to all applicants, including individuals with health conditions or additional needs.

Support is available for learners with:

  • Visual and hearing impairments
  • Mobility-related disabilities
  • Social, emotional, or mental health needs
  • Learning difficulties including Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, and Dyspraxia
  • Autism spectrum conditions
  • Speech, language, and communication needs
  • Down Syndrome
  • Medical conditions such as epilepsy, asthma, and diabetes
  • Temporary disabilities following illness or injury
  • Other physical or learning disabilities

Dedicated tutors, mentors, and skills coaches provide tailored support to ensure every learner has the best opportunity to succeed.

    • Sports Coach
    • Team Leader
