Ed Palmer is an experienced defender with an extensive career across the South West, having represented Torquay United, Truro City, Tiverton Town, Taunton Town and Weymouth.

A product of Torquay United’s youth system, Palmer progressed into senior football before establishing himself as a familiar figure across the non-league game. He has enjoyed several successful spells with Truro City, helping the Tinners secure promotion to the National League South in 2015 and later playing a part in their Southern League play-off final victory in 2023.

During the 2023/24 season, Palmer made 41 league appearances for Truro City, scoring six goals. He returned to Torquay United in 2024, making 33 appearances during the 2024/25 campaign as the Gulls narrowly missed out on promotion.

Palmer brings leadership, physicality and valuable experience to the Parkway squad. Comfortable competing at this level and above, he is a defender who prides himself on being vocal, helping teammates and contributing both defensively and in possession.

Having previously played at Bolitho Park for Truro City, Palmer now represents Plymouth Parkway as he looks to make his mark in Yellow.
