Craig Veal exits Parkway

Plymouth Parkway can confirm that Craig Veal has left the football club as the striker seeks Pastures new.

Craig joined from Willand Rovers at the start of the 2020/21 season and almost found a winner on his debut from the bench against Devon neighbours Buckland Athletic.

The striker would soon be on the scoresheet as he hit a double against Wellington and again found the net against Bridgwater Town.

Craig has been a superb player to have around the football club and whilst at Parkway his family grew by one as baby Veal entered the world.

Towards the end of last season and the beginning of this, Craig would make appearances from the bench and could not force his way into the first team. Now in his 30’s and with plenty of quality football left in him, Craig has decided to find regular first team football and we wish Craig all the best on the next part of his footballing journey.

The ‘sucking of the thumb’ celebration against Bridgwater was a very special moment as he was mobbed by his teammates.

Good luck Craig and thank you for the memories.
