Plymouth Parkway are pleased to announce the signing of Tom Dean and Mitch Beardmore on a three-month loan from Exeter City.

Parkway boss, Chris McPhee, who previously brought in Zak Baker on loan from Plymouth Argyle, is delighted to add new loan signings Tom and Mitch to the squad. Having worked closely with both players at Exeter, Chris has been keen to integrate them into the team at Bolitho Park. The duo have been involved and impressed during Exeter’s first team pre-season.

Chris notes, “Tom is a strong, industrious player who excels in multiple positions. His technical prowess, particularly in ball striking and set pieces, along with his ability to cover much ground, makes him an excellent addition. Although just a first-year pro, he’s ready for the physical challenges of men’s football.”

Regarding Mitch, Chris adds, “Mitch brings a burst of energy and creativity. He’s adept at playing between the lines, linking play effectively in attack, and can operate anywhere across the front line or as a number ten. His technique and ability to create and score from various situations, alongside his strong work ethic, make him a great fit for our squad.”

Tom Dean expressed his excitement about the move, saying, “I’m delighted to join Parkway on loan. Having worked with Macca extensively at Exeter, I feel prepared to thrive under his management. It’s a great opportunity to play for a manager who knows how to bring out my best.”

Both players are well acquainted with the style of play Chris is looking to implement at Parkway and will have the opportunity to become important players in the squad.

The pair will join the squad immediately, ahead of the final pre-season fixture and a trip way out west against Jake Ash’s Mousehole.
