Parkway Welcome Ethan Wright Home
New SigningBy Mike Parrish
The new arrivals continue at Bolitho Park as Plymouth Parkway can confirm the signing of Ethan Wright, with the young full-back becoming Karl Curtis’ latest addition ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
Following the announcement of Jack Brimming’s arrival yesterday, Parkway supporters won’t have to wait long for the next piece of transfer news, with another talented young player returning to familiar surroundings.
After beginning his journey within the Plymouth Argyle academy system, Wright would later spend time within Parkway’s youth ranks before taking his first steps into senior football with Tavistock. Now, the talented full-back returns to Bolitho Park looking to continue his development in yellow.
Now back at the club, the defender is eager to establish himself within Curtis’ first-team squad.
The move also highlights the pathway available to young players at Plymouth Parkway, with first-team coach Lee Peacock now overseeing the club’s youth programme and helping strengthen the connection between the academy and senior set-up.
Having closely monitored Wright’s progress, manager Karl Curtis is excited about the qualities he will bring to the squad.
“Ethan is going to be an excellent addition to our squad.
“He is another talented young local player who gives us great balance within the group.
“Fans can expect a forward-thinking left-sided player who has the physical attributes to cover the full length of the Bolitho Park pitch.
“Myself and the staff are really looking forward to working closely with Ethan and helping him continue his development.”
Everyone at Plymouth Parkway would like to welcome Ethan back to the football club and wish him every success for the season ahead.
The defender will wear the number 14 shirt during the 2026/27 campaign.
