First Game for Hobbs

Saturday 21st January will see Plymouth Parkway line up for the first time under new manager Lee Hobbs.  Lee, who was appointed this past Tuesday night, will have a huge task on his hands with his first game being against top of the league Saltash United.  Saltash, have been in great form this season and for some have been the ‘suprise package’ however for anyone who has watched them will know that they are a hard working, well drilled, well organised and possibly most important ‘together’ team.

Lee and new coach Karl Curtis, met with the players this week and have had their first training session.  Aware of the task ahead of them they are certain that Parkway have been somewaht under performing this season.  With only 3 league losses, 2 in the last 2 games, the team havent been in bad form but it’s been that killer instict of ensuring a game is seen out.

A win for the yellows could see the title race blown wide open again, a loss will surely put an end to the glimmer of hope of a top 3 finish.  Therefore, it’s all to play for.

For anyone travelling across the tamar bridge to the game, get behind the boys, get behiond the new manager and roar us on to victory. #COYY
