Hayden Turner Becomes Parkway's First Summer Signing

Prepare for a busy few weeks across Plymouth Parkway’s social media channels as Karl Curtis continues to shape his squad ahead of the 2026/27 Southern League Premier South season.
Following the retention of the majority of the squad that finished last campaign strongly, Parkway can now confirm striker Hayden Turner as the club’s first new signing of the summer.
Turner arrives at Bolitho Park following a successful spell with Mousehole, where he played a key role in the club’s rise through the football pyramid and established himself as one of the most consistent goalscorers in the region.
Now, the 29-year-old is ready to take the next step in his career and test himself at Southern League Premier South level.
Speaking after completing the move, Turner said:
“It’s something I spoke to Karl about, and also Jake Ash, my previous manager. You don’t get too many opportunities to go and test yourself and
Manager Karl Curtis was delighted to add Turner to his squad ahead of the new campaign.
“Hayden had plenty of other offers, so we’re delighted he’s chosen Plymouth Parkway.
“He is a natural finisher who has scored more than 60 goals at Step 4 over the last three seasons, including finishing as the league’s top scorer with 30 goals during Mousehole’s first season at that level.
“He’s hungry, fit and has the ability to hurt opposition teams both with and without the ball. His attitude and application are excellent, and I believe he has the mentality to be a Plymouth Parkway player.
“Technically, he’s excellent, his movement is very good, and once the players around him understand his strengths, I believe he can become an outstanding signing for this football club.”
Supporters won’t have to wait long to see Turner in Parkway colours, with pre-season preparations beginning next month ahead of a busy summer schedule and the opening fixture away to Torpoint on Saturday 4th July.
