2022/23 Update

Karl Curtis returns to Parkway

Plymouth Parkway are delighted to announce that Karl Curtis will return to the dugout ahead of the 2022/23 Southern League season.

Karl will return to Bolitho as assistant manager with Matt Godfree taking the role of first team coach.

Stuart Dudley will continue as GK coach and Regan Miles will remain in the Plymouth Parkway physio/sports therapist role. Karl returns to Parkway after his spell with the Plymouth Argyle academy came to an end.

His first spell was a successful one and along with manager Lee Hobbs, the pair would win the SWPL title, League Cup and Devon County Cup.

The duo would oversee a 2nd place finish in the clubs first Western League season and also pick up the Western League Cup. Karl would leave Bolitho after the first interrupted Covid season but now returns ahead of Parkways first maiden season in the Southern Premier League.

A delighted Karl stated: “I’m looking forward to returning to the club and working with Lee again. I’m also excited about the new challenge that lays ahead of us with our first season at step 3.

I remember back when Lee and myself first arrived at Bolitho in my first interview I stated I honestly believe this club could progress through the leagues and compete against some of the local big clubs such as Truro, Tiverton etc.

Due to the outstanding work thats gone on at the club from the committee, management team, players and ever growing fan base we can now look forward to testing ourselves against these type of clubs on a weekly basis. Bring on season 2022-23.”

We wish Karl a warm welcome back to Bolitho Park as Parkway look forward to the 2022/23 season.
