Chairman

Brief info

Mark has been Chairman of Parkway for over 9 years, guiding the club from the South West Peninsula League to the Southern Premier League South, Step 3 of the non-league pyramid. A successful local entrepreneur and winner of Plymouth’s Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2016, Mark runs multiple businesses and supports other business leaders with development and strategy.

Since joining Parkway, he has overseen three promotions, led ground improvements, and helped expand the club’s youth and disability programmes. His focus is on building a strong, community-driven club that provides opportunities for young players to grow, both at Parkway and in professional football.

With a clear goal of financial stability, Mark continues to drive progress on and off the pitch; supporting local talent and strengthening the club’s role as a key part of the city's footballing and community landscape.
Mark has worked with many great players over the years at Parkway, however his favourite would have to be one of the most exciting players he has seen, the “Wizard”, Mikey Williams, who has been at the club since the boss took over.
However, an honourable mention for the chairman goes to Dylan Jones who has moved onto Norwich. Mark and everyone at Parkway will always keep an eye on his career progression and look forward to seeing him succeed.

His favourite player would have to be Lionel Messi, and Mark sees the Argentine as one of the most gifted players of all time. His best Parkway moment was when he directed Parkway to 3 promotions in 4 seasons including the promotion to the Southern Premier League South.

Outside of Parkway, Mark is always operating within his other businesses and has a keen interest in Formula 1, and even managed to go watch a live Grand Prix, which has always been a big ambition for the Chairman. Mark also loves spending time with his family and having BBQ’s with them, even when he has to cook most of the time, and his favourite food is a toss up between a mixed grill or a very good steak.
