Affectionately known as Duds, Stu joined the Parkway family as a goalkeeper in the 1999/2000 season from Torpoint Athletic after returning from a coaching stint in Texas, USA.

He had previously played in the South Western League with Bugle and St Austell alongside then current Parkway favourites such as Mark Bishop and Gary Avery.

Stuart has been coaching since 1994 and quickly became part of the back room set up, first establishing a team of younger players in the local P&D league, many of whom went on to make a number of appearances for the first team.

A return to Parkway was something he had thought about and hoped might happen and after a couple of blighted covid seasons the opportunity presented itself and he was appointed goalkeeper coach for our first ever Southern League campaign.

His experience, knowledge and enthusiasm were well received by the squad, and he has become a welcome addition to Lee’s backroom staff.
