Stuart Dudley

Football Development Director

Brief info

Stuart has a varied background in sports development, facility management, coaching, and education, which has naturally led to his current role as a Director at Plymouth Parkway. His experience across different areas of sport gives him a well-rounded understanding of how a club operates, both on the pitch and behind the scenes.

A former Parkway player himself, his involvement with the club goes back years. That connection to the team adds a personal element to his work, especially now as he contributes in a leadership role. His focus is on helping the club remain sustainable while aiming to compete at the highest level it realistically can.
He sees success not just in terms of league position, but also in how the club serves the local community and maintains a positive reputation. Strengthening Parkway’s role in the city, and creating an environment where players and staff can thrive, are key parts of his approach. With Parkway currently the highest-placed club in Plymouth outside of Argyle, Stuart is part of a team working to make steady progress, on the pitch and beyond.

His favourite Parkway player was a tough choice, but for pure determination and entertainment, he opted for Mark Bishop, but his all time favourite player, would have to be King Kenny Dalglish. Stuart’s best moment in football would be winning the league on multiple occasions, as he can’t beat being the best team in the division.

Outside of football, he’s a family man, who cannot beat a holiday abroad, and loves a bit of Italian cuisine.
