Parkway take to the road again for the second time in a week as they travel to Hampshire, and a first meeting in the club’s history against Havant & Waterlooville.

The form book reads two defeats for Parkway in the opening two games of the season, and it doesn’t get any easier for Chris McPhee’s side against a side tipped to be there or thereabouts this season.

Parkway opened up with a 3-1 defeat at Bolitho Park against Basingstoke Town, but showed encouraging signs during a fine first half. A midweek trip to Gloucester would see Parkway 2 down at the break, but another encouraging 45 mins would see them narrowly beaten 3-2 on the night against the Tigers. The question for Parkway fans will be to see if their side can put the pieces together over 90 mins.

The Hawks have adjusted well to life in the Southern Premier South following relegation from the National League last season. They opened with a fine away point at the Avenue against Dorchester Town and returned home on Wednesday evening to Westleigh Park to secure an emphatic 3-0 win over Chertsey Town with goals from Callum Kealy, Ryan Seager, and Harvey Bradbury, in front of a healthy crowd of just over 800!

Parkway head to Hampshire and have just added to their squad with a dual registration signing of right back Will Armstrong from Weymouth Town. Will will be available for selection if included in the match day squad.
