Parkway seal Oscar Halls on loan
Welcome, OscarBy Mike Parrish
Parkway are delighted to welcome Oscar Halls to Bolitho Park on a 3-month loan from championship neighbours Plymouth Argyle.
Parkway chairman Mark Russell commented: “We are delighted to provide Oscar a platform in his footballing journey and we wish him well during his spell at Bolitho. We are extremely proud of the strong relationship with Plymouth Argyle and we thank them for their assistance with Oscars loan.”
A Penzance boy, the highly rated defender signed his professional contract with the Greens at the end of the 2022-23 season. Oscar made his first team debut in the EFL Trophy and a 1-1 draw at Home Park against Bristol Rovers. He scored his first senior goal in a 3-1 victory away to Swindon Town.
A delighted Lee Hobbs shares: “Oscar is a player I’ve been trying to get in since back in December and have had to be very patient, so to finally land him that’s brilliant business for us. Oscar’s highly thought of at Argyle and played a key part in there run to the Papa John’s Trophy final & I’m really pleased we have been chosen for the next step of his development. I’d like to thank Schuey (Steven Schumacher) & Nance (Kevin Nancekevill) for their help with this loan, it’s very much appreciated.”
The defender will go straight into the squad ahead of this evening’s trip to Langsford Park.
