Parkway have secured the signature of former AFC Bournemouth academy forward, Frankie Monk.
The forward will be available for selection in tonight’s Southern Premier League home fixture against AFC Totton.
Frankie enjoyed a successful youth career, progressing through the ranks at AFC Bournemouth. After his release, he had a brief stint with West Bromwich Albion Under-18s. He then signed for Weymouth, starting in their Under-19s and eventually breaking into the first team. A loan spell at Poole Town provided valuable experience in the Southern Premier League. Frankie’s most recent move was from Weymouth to Sholing, until his transfer to Parkway.
On signing Frankie, Macca said in his programme notes: “Frankie has shown a lot of quality and potential at higher levels of non-league, and we are delighted to have secured his services as we look to strengthen our attacking options.
On joining Parkway, Frankie said: “I’m delighted to be here and can’t wait to get started with the squad. The club’s early form has been a talking point, but I’m excited to contribute to the challenge ahead.”
The club extends a warm welcome to Frankie, wishing him a successful and enjoyable stay at Bolitho.
