Parkway vs Salisbury Match Postponed.

Today’s scheduled fixture against Salisbury has been called off following a pitch inspection carried out by the match referee.

Again, this has been very frustrating day following the hard work carried out by the ground staff and volunteers throughout the week. We place on record our sincere thanks to everyone who has helped try and ensure this fixture is played, and we thank our supporters and Salisbury for their understanding.

The ground staff will ensure every effort is made for the pitch to be ready ahead of Tuesday’s scheduled visit of Winchester City.

This period of sustained bad weather has been unprecedented in the county but despite this, every protocol was followed before today’s Southern League fixture, including a pitch inspection carried out this morning, with the pitch deemed playable.

We once again thank our supporters for their understanding, and we share their frustration following today’s decision.
