EnglandJensen Ireland joined Plymouth Argyle’s pre-academy at the age of seven before progressing through the club’s academy and earning a scholarship.
Following the completion of his scholarship, Ireland made the move into senior football with Plymouth Parkway. During his first full season, the full-back established himself as a regular in the side, adapting quickly to the demands of men’s football.
One of the highlights of his youth career came in Plymouth Argyle’s 1-0 FA Youth Cup victory over Everton, before taking the next step in his development at Bolitho Park.
Ireland’s performances during his first full season with Parkway earned recognition from teammates and supporters, establishing him as one of the club’s emerging young players.
