EnglandRio Garside joined Plymouth Parkway after three seasons with Truro City, having previously spent more than a decade in Plymouth Argyle’s academy after joining the club at the age of six.
Since arriving at Bolitho Park, Garside has established himself as one of the club’s most consistent performers. A central midfielder, he has been a regular presence in the side, contributing throughout one of the most successful periods in Parkway’s history as the club secured promotion to the Southern League Premier Division and established itself at Step 3.
His influence within the squad has continued to grow, making more than 200 appearances in Parkway colours. During the 2025/26 season, Garside captained the side for much of the campaign before being appointed club captain ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Now one of the club’s longest-serving players, Garside continues to play an important role as Plymouth Parkway build on recent progress.
