United KingdomToby Down established himself as a regular in Plymouth Parkway’s defence during the club’s first two seasons in the Southern League Premier South. His performances were recognised with the Manager’s Player of the Season award.
Following his departure from Bolitho Park, Down spent time with Taunton Town before joining Tiverton Town, where he continued to play regular football at Step 3.
Down returned to Plymouth Parkway during the closing months of the 2025/26 season and quickly re-established himself in the side. His return helped strengthen the defence as the club secured its Southern League Premier South status.

Plymouth Parkway is delighted to welcome back Graham and Gavin Lloyd as the player sponsors of Toby Down for the 2026/27 season.
The Lloyd family name has been closely associated with Plymouth Parkway for more than a decade, with father and son continuing their long-standing support through the club’s Player Sponsorship scheme.
Gavin has played an important role in the club’s recent history, serving as Chairman of the Supporters’ Club while also contributing to Parkway’s media output for a number of seasons. His work has included helping to produce the club’s social media content, hosting podcasts and featuring prominently throughout both series of the Round Our Way documentary.
Graham has also made a lasting contribution to the football club and is now Vice-Chairman of the Supporters’ Club. He is well known among supporters for his detailed match reports, which documented the club’s journey over many years and remain an important part of Parkway’s history.
