Plymouth Derby

Plymouth Parkway go into the game against the league leaders, Plymouth Argyle Reserves buoyed by two wins from two games and will feel a renewed confidence.

A big part of their fine form has been Goalkeeper Dean Smith’s excellent displays between the sticks keeping 2 clean sheets in those games making 9 in total this season.

Christian Popple returns to the squad after missing the weekends game meaning Managers Kevin Hendy and Darren Stewart will have a near full strength squad to choose from with only Jordan Trott and John Heveran missing with long term injuries.  Leading goalscorer Sam Davey started his first game in 3 weeks on Saturday and will be in contention, alongside Mike Smith and Plymouth Argyle in the Community officer Josh Grant, to lead the line.

Plymouth Parkway will also have recently released Plymouth Argyle development player Jake Miller in their squad.

This will be Plymouth Argyle Reserves first trip to Bolitho Park since re-entering the CSWPL in 2014.  It is certainly expected to be a good game with league leaders and leading goal scorers Plymouth Argyle against a team drilled in solid defending, the ambitious Plymouth Parkway.

There was a crowd of 453 for the recent visit of Bodmin town, this number is expected to be exceeded on Tuesday night with extra catering supplies being ordered in.  The game kicks off at 7:30 at Bolitho Park, St Peters Road, and admission is £5 for Adults and £3 for concessions.
