Plymouth Parkway can today confirm the departure of striker Jack Crago following an impressive loan spell with Helston Athletic.
After spending the first two months of the season on loan at Kellaway Park, the football club has confirmed that an agreement has been reached by both clubs, and Jack Crago has now officially departed Bolitho Park.
Very few footballers walk through the gates at Bolitho Park and make such a significant impact both on and off the field as Jack. He joined the club ahead of the 2020/21 season from rivals Tavistock, and once he netted his first goal against Frome Town, the Number 11 never looked back.
He quickly became a firm fan favorite and friend to both players and supporters alike, as fans warmed to his relentless approach on the pitch and his very expressive goal celebrations. Dubbed “Cragoooals,” Jack netted 55 times in 135 appearances and also notched 40 assists in the process. He will not only be remembered for these stats but also for helping the club grow as a community and aiding the team in reaching the Southern League Premier South Division.
We place on record our absolute thanks to Jack for the time he spent with us. He made Bolitho a better place and will be forever remembered by fans who witnessed him wear the yellow of Parkway. We wish Jack every success as he makes the switch to Kellaway Park permanent.
Thank you for the memories, Jack.
