Minute applause to be held before kick-off against Westbury. To remember Roy Dutchman, a true White Horse Man

On Behalf of Plymouth Parkway FC…

We all know the importance of a non-league football club and what it means to the local community and beyond. Each non-league club will have different targets and aspirations they want to achieve, but at the bedrock of every football club are the people that help build the foundations.

This was again, sadly brought to the forefront as Westbury United legend Roy Dutchman suffered a heart-attack during the week and sadly passed away shortly after. It is in times like this that the non-league footballing community  should put aside rivalries and join together in unity to remember the people, who make football clubs work.

Last season, one of our very own, president Jim Parsons past away and the outpour we received from the footballing family will never be forgotten. This Saturday, the club will be honoured to welcome Westbury to Bolitho Park and join as one before kick-off to remember/celebrate Roy’s life.

We look forward to welcoming Westbury United, the board, management, players and fans for what will surely be a cracking game of football and to remember the life of Roy Dutchman, a true White Horse Man.
