Parkway look to keep momentum going with a trip to Sholing

The Southern Premier South is gearing up for a busy weekend with two sets of match day fixtures scheduled for the extended Bank Holiday weekend.
For Parkway, their schedule will have them away to Sholing on Saturday, followed by a home fixture against Poole Town at Bolitho Park on Bank Holiday Monday.
Coming off a crucial midweek victory against Didcot Town, their first win in eight games, Parkway aim to maintain their momentum and look to move out of the relegation zone.
The 2-1 win over Didcot Town marked Parkway’s return to Bolitho since January 30, owing to several postponements. Despite dominating, Parkway missed numerous chances and nearly squandered their lead, but Reece Thomson’s 73rd-minute goal settled the nerves.
The win sets up an important fixture against 15th-placed Sholing Town.
Sholing, after a promising start, have begun to falter in recent weeks, winning just once in their last six games. Their losses to Walton & Hersham, Chesham United, Hungerford, and Harrow Borough were only partially offset by a 3-0 victory over Poole Town.
A frustrating midweek fixture against Hanwell Town was abandoned due to heavy rainfall, adding to Sholing’s fixture congestion, a situation familiar to Parkway.
Earlier in the season at Bolitho Park, Sholing claimed victory with goals from Jake Cope, Bradley Targett, and Jake Adams. They aim to repeat that success this weekend, while Parkway seeks consecutive wins in a crucial fixture for both teams.
