Next stop on the December roadshow, Chesham United

Parkway took a splendid point on the road last time out at Bracknell, and the latest round of Southern League action takes the boys to Chesham on Saturday.

The Yellows’ adventure in their new surroundings started at Bolitho against this weekend’s very opponents, two late Ben Seymour goals securing a fine point.

The form chart has undulated since then, but all in all, that sunny afternoon was the beginning of what has been a fascinating adventure for Lee Hobbs and his team.

Chesham have won 13 since the opening day, seven of which have arrived at home. Their form has landed them third in the table, three points off leaders Weston Super Mare, who have a game in hand.

The trip to Chesham will be a tough one looking at their form, but Parkway’s performance in the week was symbolic of a battling side who do not know when they are beaten.

Past Meetings:

The 2-2 draw on the opening day was the first and, so far, only meeting between the two sides.

Travel:

Over three hours up the M5 and the M4 take you into Beaconsfield, and exit Two from the M40 leads you onto the A355 towards Chesham.

Weather:

No rain is expected on Saturday, but it will be near enough freezing in Chesham, so warm clothing will be needed.
