Parkway head to Imber Court in search of 3 points
By Rob Kershaw
Yet another game last weekend was derailed by the weather, so another date needs pencilling into the diary. Next in the scheduled programming though is an away trip to Surrey.
One of our postponements this campaign was our reverse fixture against the Met Police so this, all being well, will be our first meeting of the campaign.
The Met Police are seventh in the league after 21 fixtures thus far in the campaign four more than Parkway.
Six more wins have helped our upcoming opponents move 16 points ahead of Lee Hobbs’ men, who remain in search of a first victory in seven.
Performances, as many have seen, have not been reflective league position, but that in and of itself provides a skewed perspective given the fact that every team in the division has played at least three games more than the Yellows.
The weather in the South-West has been atrocious, creating pressure to win those games in hand and move, potentially, towards the mid-table.
Pressure is something that the boys have perennially dealt with exceptionally, not just this season, but in campaigns gone by too.
Following two away wins in all competitions to date, this would be an excellent time to grab three points on the road and apply some scoreboard pressure to those in the bottom half of the division.
Match Info
Past meetings:
We were due to have our first meeting with the Met Police at Bolitho earlier in the season, only for the game to be called off five minutes before kick-off owing to the weather.
Travel:
On a good day, it will take you nearly four hours up the M5, M4 and M3 to get to the Imber Court Sports Stadium just west of London, so prepare for an early start.

Weather:
There is a low chance of rain in East Molesey on Saturday, with temperatures of 10 Degrees Celsius giving as close to a tropical feeling as we’ll get this winter.
