Parkway will go in search of a response this Tuesday night when they go away to face basement side North Leigh.

A late rally was not enough to avoid a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Winchester at the weekend in what was an otherwise underwhelming performance.

There are positives in this game though, and the fact that we walked away from Hampshire surprised at the defeat speaks volumes about our progress.

Nonetheless, three points were dropped on Saturday, so it is time for a bounce back in midweek.

Cue a trip to Oxfordshire, where we face off against a North Leigh side that have claimed five victories this term, tasting defeat on 20 occasions.

They are nine points off safety having played 29 so far this campaign, so they look in a precarious position heading into the final few games of the season.

There is a catch though. Four of our opponents’ five wins have come at home, and they have claimed three points three times in their last five. They may be in trouble in the drop zone, but they are going out swinging and are on something of a roll at present. However, they too fell to defeat at the weekend when they faced Gosport at the Eynsham Hall Park Sports Ground.

We will head to our hosts on Tuesday in search of our 10^th win of the season, and our fourth on the road in league competition.
