London calling as Parkway set for Hanwell Town clash
Hanwell Town vs Parkway | Match PreviewBy Alex Haynes
Plymouth Parkway are set to travel to the London Borough of Ealing where they will face Hanwell Town in a Tuesday evening fixture.
This will be Parkway’s first game in nearly a month. The last time the Yellows played was at the end of January – a 1-0 home defeat to Beaconsfield Town.
That defeat was Parkway’s only loss in the previous 10 games though. They will be hoping that they can return to winning ways and get back to playing regularly.
Hanwell are currently in 16th, two places and three points above Parkway. The London Geordies are unbeaten in their last four matches with three draws and one win. Their last victory was a 3-0 win away to Poole Town on the 3rd of this month.
The Yellows have six games in hand over their opponents and sit one place above the drop zone thanks to a far superior goal difference. Again, games in hand are a big factor here as they have played eight games less than Swindon Supermarine who are one place below, also on 31 points.
Back in September, Parkway were defeated 2-1 by Hanwell at Bolitho. The Yellows will be eager to get their season up and running again and will be confident of avenging that loss.
