Parkway looking to bounce back at Bolitho

Plymouth Parkway will welcome Harrow Borough to Bolitho this Saturday in their second home game this week.
Parkway’s unbeaten run came to an end on Tuesday evening at the hands of Beaconsfield Town. The Yellows were aiming for 10 without a loss, but the Rams took home the points after a 1-0 win. Despite dominating possession, the lads struggled to create much of note in the game and were unable to produce the quality needed to break down the well organised Beaconsfield.
Even after defeat, Parkway remain in 14th place with 31 points. The fixtures will continue to come thick and fast as we work through the games in hand. Parkway will have the home advantage in Four of the next five games this month.
Our opponents this Saturday currently find themselves in a bit of trouble. They sit in 21st place with 18 points and are nine points away from safety. They have not won a game of football since the 16th of January when they beat Basingstoke Town 4-2. After six league defeats on the bounce, they managed to stop the rot last weekend after securing a point in a 1-1 draw with Hayes & Yeading.
Last season Parkway did the double over the Boro, winning 1-0 away from home and 4-0 at Bolitho. At The Rodgers Family Stadium back in September, Harrow Borough were 2-1 winners.
Parkway will need to be wary in their pursuit of a win this Saturday. The London club are desperate for three points, and this will likely make them dangerous opponents. The defeat to Beaconsfield Town was a reality check and a reminder of how difficult this league is, but the Yellows have every chance of bouncing back this weekend in a big way.
