Parkway Looking for Response at Harrow Borough

Harrow Borough v Parkway | Match Preview

After an incredibly tough evening at the office on Tuesday night, all Lee Hobbs’ squad can do is pick themselves up and go again this weekend.

This was always going to be tough division to succeed in, as was proven by Yate Town’s clinical performance in Gloucestershire in midweek.

A brace from Alex Lambert, and goals by Joe Tumelty and Pierce Mitchell, saw Parkway fall to a big loss away from home, but with defeats come experience, and the Yellows gained plenty from the difficult encounter.

They take those learnings into their fixture in London on Saturday, facing a Harrow Borough side who have won three of their opening 11 in the league.

Two of those have arrived at home against North Leigh and Chesham United, while Beaconsfield fell to a 3-1 defeat at home to the Reds.

Hobbs will be looking for a response from a team who have proven so many times – including this season – that they have a fire in them that helps them recover from difficult moments like the one experienced on Tuesday.

Past meetings:

We have never faced Harrow Borough before this weekend.
