Parkway return to familiar surroundings

AFC Totton vs Parkway | Match Preview

Plymouth Parkway embark on their travels this weekend for a match against AFC Totton at the Snows Stadium.

Our scheduled match against Didcot Town was once against postponed on Tuesday, as was the fixture versus Harrow Borough last weekend just as it seemed that we were back in the swing of things.

Despite the frustrations of cancelled matches, Parkway have been in excellent form overall. Their 1-0 defeat to Beaconsfield Town on the 30th of January was the Yellows’ only loss in the previous 10 games. They will be hoping that they can get back on track away against Totton before the chance to secure more points in two home games in a row against the Stags and Merthyr. Parkway have dropped to 17th place but have six games in hand over Beaconsfield Town in 16th.

Totton are currently occupying the final play-off place in 5th with 46 points. The Stags are unbeaten in their last five games, but they have drawn three matches in a row. Their last victory was a 1-0 home win against Harrow Borough on the 20th of January.

Parkway will be looking to avenge a 2-1 loss to Totton earlier in the season in the FA Trophy. The return of Plymouth Argyle’s Oscar Halls will surely be a big boost for the Yellows in this one.
