Parkway back on the road as the Southern League resumes
After some successful cup exploits in recent weeks, Parkway are ready to plunge back into their league campaign this weekend.
The Yellows are still chasing their first win of the season, but while good performances being met with undeserved results has been a theme of the season in the Southern League, cup displays have reaped rewards.
Lee Hobbs will be hoping that this form carries on into the weekend, and Parkway will come up against a Hartley Wintney side who themselves have not had an easy time of it this season.
They have lost four and won one of their opening six games in 2022-23, with an impressive three points arriving at ninth-placed Salisbury.
That has helped them to 19th in the table, but Saturday will be a contest between two sides eager to find some good form.
The hosts, much like Parkway, have only put one point on the board at home this season, while Parkway are yet to record a result away from Bolitho, all of which puts a lot of significance on Saturday afternoon.
Past Meetings
There have been no encounters between these two sides before.
Travel
It takes just over three hours to drive to the Memorial Playing Fields, heading up the M5, before changing onto the M4 in Bristol.
Weather
Rain is unlikely on Saturday afternoon, but cool temperatures are expected, so we advise you wear something warm!
