Parkway resume cup exploits after convincing league wins
11 goals and three wins in each of the last three have constituted a statement from Parkway that their season is truly getting started now, and they take their league momentum into another round of the FA Trophy this weekend.
Their opponents will be Bristol Manor Farm, who ply their trade in the Southern League Division One South – one tier below the Yellows.
The Bristolians are certainly no pushovers, having done the double over Parkway last season, but this is an evolving and better Plymouth Parkway, even than the one we saw at the start of the campaign.
Wins over Harrow Borough, Hendon and Tiverton were partially galvanised by the heavy defeat at the hands of Yate, with Ben Seymour, Jack Crago, Callum Hall and Ryan Lane all finding their scoring boots recently.
Parkway dispatched Dorchester to get to the first round proper this weekend, while Manor Farm saw off the challenge of Wimborne, Bideford and Gosport en route to this stage.
