Third time’s a charm – Parkway v Dorchester preview

We’re beginning to get quite accustomed to playing Dorchester Town this season, and for the third time in 2022-23, we face them again.

It is rather unusual to have played both league fixtures against one side before Christmas arrives, but this has hardly been a normal campaign.

This weird and wonderful season has seen Lee Hobbs’ side climb to 17th in the Southern League Premier South table, claiming five wins in a form book that continues to look increasingly more respectable.

We tasted 3-1 defeat early doors against Dorchester in the league, before gaining revenge in a 2-0 win in the FA Trophy.

The Yellows are buoyed by a penalty victory over Oxford City in that same competition, bringing impressive momentum into Tuesday night’s fixture at Bolitho.

Travel

If you’re coming down from Dorchester on Tuesday, you’ll be travelling down the A35, the A30 and the A38 in a journey to Bolitho that will take around two hours.

It is November, so temperatures will be low on Tuesday night, with rain fairly likely.
