Devon made fixture as Tiverton head to Bolitho Park

After six of the best last weekend against Hendon, Parkway return to Bolitho park on Tuesday night to face Tiverton Town.

Following a tricky start to the campaign, it almost seemed that this squad owed someone a hiding, and it was the unfortunate Hendon on the receiving end of the drubbing.

Four goals from Ben Seymour, as well as strikes from Callum Hall and Jack Crago, sealed three points in emphatic fashion on Saturday, putting the Yellows’ tails up going into match-day 12.

It was a success that lifted Lee Hobbs’ boys up to 19th, with games in hand over eight teams around them.

Tiverton sit 10th after five wins, three of which have arrived away from home, and they are 12 points adrift of leaders Truro.

Both of their last two league victories, away at Poole and at home to Yate, have consisted of 4-2 score lines, with the eight goals coming from six different scorers.

A win for Parkway, depending on other results this week, could lift them to 16th in the league heading into Saturday’s FA Trophy clash with Bristol Manor Farm.

Past Meetings

Parkway’s last competitive encounter with Tiverton ended with a 4-1 FA Cup win at Bolitho in 2015, a year after our fellow Devonians took a 1-0 win at home in the same competition.
