Parkway in Search of Revenge on Yate

Parkway v Yate Town | Match Preview

Written by Rob Kershaw

A 4-0 humbling at the hands of this weekend’s opponents in October certainly left a sour taste in the mouth, and it was a reminder of just how tough and unpredictable this division is.

Parkway were still in the middle of finding their feet when they last faced Yate Town, but the Yellows return to Bolitho this weekend fresh off the back of a stellar victory on Tuesday.

Goals from Jack Crago and Billy Palfrey saw us take all three points against North Leigh, leaving us 15th and eight points above the relegation zone.

We enter our 27th league game of the season on decent form, winning five of our last eight. Yate’s recent results paint a different picture. They have claimed two victories in the last 10, losing all of their last five.

That leaves them in the drop zone but as we found out when we went to Winchester, that has little baring on how results play out in the Southern Premier.
