Whoop, whoop, it's the sound of the Police

By Rob Kershaw

In a remarkable turn of events, Ben Seymour’s late penalty at Bolitho on Saturday saw us take all three points.

It had been a tight, tough encounter with Swindon Supermarine, but they were taken down in the Plymouth rain at the weekend, while Lee Hobbs’ men rose to 11th in the table.

With safety so nearly secure, it is time to try and put the final few pieces together on what has turned into a splendid season in yellow.

That brings us onto Tuesday night, and the latest in our thick and fast fixtures pits us against the Met Police.

They come into their 33rd game of the season having won just one of their last six, while our victory on Saturday was our second on the trot.

We have scored two or more in all our last four home games, and we have scored just two less than this week’s opponents. Goals are expected.
