Parkway looking for back-to-back home wins

By Rob Kershaw

The boys are set to go in search of their fourth win in six this weekend when they face off against Swindon Supermarine.

Goals from Ryan Lane and Jack Crago saw us defeat Gosport at home in the week, and our second successive game at Bolitho pits us against the sixth-placed Marine.

They come into Saturday’s game having won six of their last 11, and their most recent fixture featured an emphatic away performance as they beat Winchester 6-1.

Six places and 12 points ahead of Lee Hobbs’ men in the table having played a game more, Supermarine will pose a tough test in game week 31 for the squad.

Victory this weekend would be our 13th of the season, and our ninth at home.

Somewhat remarkably, this will be our first-ever meeting with Supermarine. Two encounters have already been called off this term.

Weather

The wet weather has returned recently, and there is a strong chance of that continuing on Saturday. On a plus note, temperatures will rise slightly to a mighty eight Degrees Celsius.
