Plymouth Parkway are saddened to learn the tragic loss of youth team coach, Mike Honeywill,  joint manager of Plymouth Parkway’s Colts Under 11’s.

Mike has touched the lives of many throughout the Parkway family and beyond which is clear from the outpouring of messages from the people who knew him best. 

We send our sincere condolences to the youth set-up and Mike’s family and friends.

Club Chairman, Mark Russell says:

“I would like to personally send my condolences to the family and friends of Mike.

Mike was an extremely important member of the youth setup at Parkway and was loved and respected by all his fellow coaches and players.

At this time our thoughts must be with his partner and 2 children.

Danny Yearling, Under 11s Manager says:

“Plymouth Parkway have sadly lost one of our own, Mike Honeywill. He was a very important part of our club and will be greatly missed by each and every one of us.

This team has been like one big family since we started and I know we can continue to be once we all come to terms with this sad news.

Mike was more than a coach he was everyone’s friend and someone that every single player looked up to and loved.
