Head Physio takes up vacant role at Torquay United
Plymouth Parkway can confirm that head physio Regan Miles has left Bolitho Park to take up the vacant Head of Medical role with National League side Torquay United.
We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Regan during his tenure with us. Regan played a pivotal role as we secured the Southern League Division One South league title last season.
Not only did the former Marjon student carry out his medical duties, but he also helped raise the profile of the club’s fitness and analytical approach and forged new partnerships with companies such as PlayerData.
Whilst we are disappointed to see Regan depart, the news can only be seen as positive for Plymouth Parkway after giving Regan the platform to learn his trade and build a pathway for him to be noticed higher up the footballing pyramid.
Plymouth Parkways ethos is one of growth, sustainability, and ambition which has helped propel the club into the Southern Premier League South Division. This hard work will ultimately lead to opportunities for stand out staff members to be noticed higher up the footballing pyramid and this has been proven by Regan’s new appointment.
Plymouth Parkway wish Regan all the very busy as he begins his new role for the 2022/23 season at Plainmoor.
On response of this news, the Parkway management have been actively seeking a new member of staff to step into the vacant & exciting position and more details on this will be available in due course.
