Parkway back on the road with a trip to Salisbury

By Rob Kershaw – 3 February 2023

While we did not get the win we probably deserved at the weekend, we still went two in a row without defeat which is momentum to build on.

Dan Rooney’s goal against Beaconsfield on Tuesday night would ultimately yield a point to take us onto 23 and out of the relegation zone, despite only playing 20 games this season.

The 21st encounter of an engaging first season in the Southern Premier South takes us on the road to Salisbury, who are 10 points up the road having played seven more.

The Whites have tasted defeat in all their last five league encounters, shipping 12 goals in the process. That came after winning three in the previous seven.

But their solid early season form, winning five of their opening eight league games, are a reminder, if nothing else, of something that fans, players and coaches alike are all very aware of by now – no one in this league is to be taken for granted.
