New Year, Same Challenge

After a thrilling draw at Bolitho on Boxing Day, the Yellows are back in action this New Year’s weekend as they face league leaders Weston Super-Mare.

Weston have won eight of their last 10 league games, including all of their last three, establishing a three-point lead over Truro with a game in hand.

Nine of the Seagulls’ 16 victories have arrived at The Optima Stadium, making this New Year’s visit a challenging prospect.

The post-Christmas performance against our ground share rivals provided the latest dose of belief within the squad, and as Ryan Lane told us in our match day programme on Monday, this is a squad that fears no one.

However, winless in the last three league games, Lee Hobbs’ men would quite like to return to winning ways on Monday having previously won four on the trot.
