After a superb season, Austen Booth calls time at Parkway
Plymouth Parkway can confirm that Austen Booth has decided to leave the football club ahead of the new season.
After a previous spell with the football club, Austen put pen to paper ahead of the 2022/23 campaign and enjoyed a superb season at Bolitho. After a short spell in midfield, Austen reverted to a centre-back role and produced some wonderful performances throughout the campaign. He quickly became known as a Rolls Royce of a footballer.
Despite only having Austen with us for one season, everybody associated with Plymouth Parkway can only thank Austen for his contribution, his friendly nature, and his enthusiasm for wanting the football club to succeed.
His teammates crowned Austen their players player of the season, such was the impact he made.
It might have only been for one season, but we would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Austen for all his efforts during his time at the football club, and we wish him every success for the future.
