Dan Rooney's stay with the Yellows lasts one season as he decides to leave Parkway
Plymouth Parkway can confirm that Dan Rooney has decided to leave the football club ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Despite injury, Dan enjoyed a fine season with the club and produced some memorable moments and performances. Not only was Dan a talented footballer, but he was a superb person to represent Plymouth Parkway, and he did so impeccably.
He quickly became a fans favourite but also a player’s favourite. His unique personality will be missed, just like his voice and his reputation has only been enhanced as he performed superbly for the football club.
A Plymothian himself, we cannot thank Dan enough for all his efforts during his time at Plymouth Parkway and we place on record our gratitude to Dan and wish the midfielder every success on the next part of his footballing journey.
