My name is Tom Finnie, I am the Club Photographer for Plymouth Parkway, and here is my story!

I have always had a huge interest in photography both film and digital and in my lifetime I have owned and sold many cameras and lenses. But just before lockdown I decided that I would buy another DSLR camera (much to my wife’s disgust).

Having bought the camera I set off to watch Parkway in a match at Bolitho Park and took the camera along. I took some snaps and later contacted the club and asked if they would be interested in any and that I would be happy to pass them on.

Within weeks the club started advertising for an Official Club Photographer. I immediately put myself forward and as they say “The rest is history”.

I am now part of a fantastic Media Team, that cover everything Parkway, from photo’s to match reports and social media, along with Mike Parrish the legend behind the video camera.

As a media team we have managed to get great publicity form the local Press, in particular I would like to thank Stu James at the Plymouth Herald, where my images regularly feature.

I have also had some printed including a front cover of the Non-League Paper.

As Club photographer I am there to take photos on match days, advertising events, training sessions when required, new signings and anything else I am asked to photograph.

I have also been known to photograph some events for supporters when asked and when available.

It has been a pleasure to have been a small part in the great success of the club.
