Parkway Mascots in the Devon Derby
Mascot ExperienceOn Wednesday evening, Plymouth Parkway entertained Tiverton Town under the lights at Bolitho Park. It would be the first occasion that Parkway would face Tiverton Town in a league fixture, showing just how far the club has moved forward in recent years.
The night would also be very special for two young lads, Jake Pattenden and Zachary Bassett who would be official mascots for the evening.
For Jake, the experience was to mark his 6th birthday for the big Parkway fan whose favourite player is Jack Crago. Parkway’s family & community ethos would be echoed by our Commercial Manager Keira Bassett, who made sure Jake wouldn’t be alone as her own son, Zach would join Jake in the mascot role!
Jake and Zach were excited to walk out with captain, Ryan Lane and Jake with his favourite player Jack Crago, as the teams entered the pitch ahead of the Devon Derby fixture.
The boys were photographed under the lights with the lads in yellow and formed part of the official match photography.
In addition, Jake provided a shirt for the boys to sign and was presented with this prior to the match. Jake’s dad took to Twitter to share his blistering review on the night:

The package cost is £55
