Parkway Land Midfield Target Ed Harrison
New SigningBy Mike Parrish
Plymouth Parkway can confirm the signing of central midfielder Ed Harrison, with the highly-rated midfielder becoming Karl Curtis’ final addition of the summer ahead of the 2026/27 Southern League Premier South campaign.
The arrival of Harrison completes a busy summer of recruitment at Bolitho Park, with the midfielder joining a growing list of players stepping up to Southern League Premier South football.
A familiar name across the South West football scene, Harrison arrives with an excellent reputation following successful spells at Tavistock and Mousehole, where he established himself as one of the most consistent midfielders at Step 4.
The new number 15 spent three seasons at Langsford Park before moving to Mousehole, where he enjoyed an outstanding individual campaign and swept the club’s end-of-season awards despite a challenging year for the Seagulls.
Now, with the opportunity to test himself at a higher level, Harrison believes the time is right to take the next step in his career.
Manager Karl Curtis was delighted to secure one of his key summer targets.
“We are delighted to capture the signing of Ed Harrison, who possesses many of the attributes required to be an excellent central midfielder at Step 3.
“What I really like about Ed is that he doesn’t see himself as a one-dimensional midfield player. He has the technical and physical qualities to operate box-to-box, but he also has a strong football intelligence and can fulfil a number of different roles if required.
“He won every individual award at Mousehole last season and both myself and the staff strongly believe he is ready to take the next step and make the jump into Step 3 football.”
Harrison’s arrival concludes Parkway’s summer recruitment, with the squad now in place ahead of pre-season testing and a demanding schedule of fixtures leading into the new campaign.
Everyone at Plymouth Parkway would like to welcome Ed to Bolitho Park and wish him every success in yellow.
The midfielder will wear the number 15 shirt during the 2026/27 season.
