We are supporting the Four Greens Community Trust – 50,000 Tins Appeal this year.

The trust is a wellbeing hub based in North Plymouth with a vision to eradicate poverty, social isolation, and health inequalities within our community.

In 2023 alone, they have supported over 750 individuals and families through its Emergency Crisis Food support or its Community Larder. To ensure they can continue to support those that are most in need and, to be able to cope with the expected increase in demand in 2024 due to the continuing cost of the living crisis, they need to raise more than £100k.

In addition to their Emergency Food Crisis work, they support people in energy poverty and provide financial planning advice as well as signposting people who are in debt. They also provide support for people with accommodation, mental health, and addiction issues.

We are a collection point.

The trust launched the ‘50,000 Tin Appeal’ on 1 December which will continue to run until 31 January 2024, and they are asking communities like ours, to help achieve that goal.
