Inside Parkway with Callum Rose
Question TimeDefender Callum Rose, has been at Parkway now for just over a season. He joined the Yellows during pre-season in 2021/2022 campaign as a replacement for Rob Farkins and formed a great partnership with Parkway great, Mike Landricombe at the heart of defence last season.
Callum scored this wonder-goal from the halfway line during the Champions match at the end of last season against Bedford Town.
We asked Callum:
How is the season going?
“I feel the season started off slow but once we found our feet and bonded as a team we got on a good run which is still going now and hopefully we can carry this on into the New Year.”
What’s your greatest accomplishment at Parkway?
“It has to be last season winning the league, that season was something special and the first league I have ever won so it meant a lot to me.”
Who is the messiest person in the changing room?
“We don’t really have anyone who is messy but when it comes to leaving stuff after football and always forgetting boots and trainers is Ryan lane! Home or away, Lane always manages to leave something behind.”
What’s the goal for the season?
“My personal goal is to stay fit and available to Lee for every game and hopefully help the team push on to the play-off spots which I know we are good enough to do.”
