A message from the Vice Chairman

We asked Gez 'what's in the pipeline at the club'

Over the past few seasons, Plymouth Parkway has achieved remarkable progress on and off the pitch.  New changing rooms were built first, soon to be followed by a new Clubhouse and toilet block.

More recently, the ground has changed dramatically and now has a Cabin Bar, covered areas to three sides of the pitch, as well as the Charlie Baggott stand. This was always the long term plan, but gained momentum when we received revenue gained from the commitment of the Chairman and Board, ground share agreement, sponsors and kind donations. It is now regarded as one of the better grounds in the South West (if not the best) and compares very positively with many of our peers in this league.

Just recently the media tower above the Cadmore enclosure was storm damaged and it is proposed to fix a new roof and side sheets to the existing scaffold in order to provide a safe and dry enclosure for our media team.

It is also hoped to build a separate PPSC facility to enable supporters to purchase merchandise at the Ground.

We are fortunate to have already 75% of the materials needed to complete both of these projects. It must be noted however, that these improvements are carried out by volunteers and with the current weather conditions and dark evenings, we must remain patient as they make take some time to complete.

There is always room for improvement at any ground and we do not intend to become complacent, but will always look to improve wherever and whenever possible for the benefit of the football club and our valued fan base.
